- A new A major version of
David Kellner's Campanella

versions posted before. Together with these is Kellner's
Courante

alto-guitar.

Phantasia (original in D minor) is
also posted.

- Alto-guitar version of Bernhard
Joachim Hagen's lute piece
Locatelli Variations was
posted. Hagen was an important Baroque lute composer-player but
has been long neglected. Leyenda will gradually make other
transcriptions of his lute compositions available. Robert Barto's
travail of Hagen's work on Naxos CD is worth listening.

- One reader Sean inquired about
Narciso Yepes' version of Lute Sonata No. 2 by
S.L.Weiss. Although I've never had a
chance to listen to Yepes' recording, and it is
obviously out of print, I managed to complete a transcription of this
magnificent Sonata No. 2
(transposed from D to E major) for 10-string guitar in Yepes-style tuning
(re-entrant G#/F# on the 9th/10th strings)..
