There are few, if any studies or exercises for 10-string guitar. For purpose to
help guitarists aspiring to adopt 10-string guitar, I have endeavored to
arrange one of the most important work for classical guitar study
Op. 60 of Mateo Carcassi for 10-string guitar. It consists of
various helpful exercises for both left and right hands to develop familiarity with the
fingerboard and the extra bass strings of the 10-string guitar.
The 3rd string is tuned to f# and the bass strings are
diatonically tuned to help the players become familiar with this type of tuning
in early music transcriptions.

Most studies remain in the same key. Study 3 was transposed
to E major in order to maintain the same arpeggio pattern. |
